Sangria is a fruit-based, alcoholic blend hailing from Spain. The wine used to make this delicious drink determines the hue of the sangria. White sangria is prepared using white wine, whereas red sangria is created using red wine. It’s as simple as that! The components for sangria differ depending on the region it is produced in.Traditional sangria may also incorporate fruit juices like orange juice in addition to wine. Simple syrup, agave nectar, or sugar are used as sweeteners in the preparation of Sangria. Sparkling water is also used to dilute the alcohol concentration. Sliced oranges, pineapple, peaches, nectarines, apples, and pears, as well as other fruits, can be incorporated into the drink. A variety of flavoured liquors, such as fruit schnapps, brandies, and cognacs, can be used to enhance the flavor.
